Arxterra is built mostly out of open data and arithmetic. Artificial intelligence is used in a few narrow places, and none of them touch the verdict you read on a country page. This page lists every one of them, so you never have to guess which part of the site a machine wrote.

1. Where AI is used

  • Illustrations. The background images and the round channel emblems were generated with Google's Gemini image model. They are abstract: contour lines, glows and emblems. No real person, place, building or event is depicted, and none is meant to be. Each one is labelled “AI-generated” where it appears.
  • Headline translation, currently off. If we ever show news headlines translated into Russian, the translation is done by a language model and is marked as a machine translation. The English original stays next to it so you can check.
  • Our own posts. Marketing texts published under our name are drafted with AI assistance and then read, corrected and approved by a person who takes editorial responsibility for them. Under Art. 50(4) that editorial control is what removes the labelling requirement; we record the practice rather than rely on it silently.

2. Where AI is not used

This is the more important half of the page.

  • The verdict and the indices. HRI, NPI, the horizon bands and the verdict itself are arithmetic over open datasets. No model is involved at any step. Every formula is printed in full on the Reproduce page, and you can recompute our number from the same public sources.
  • There is no chatbot and no voice assistant on this site. Nothing here talks back to you, so you are never in a conversation with a machine that might pass for a person.
  • We do not score people. Arxterra assesses countries. It does not evaluate individuals, does not rank applicants, does not assess anyone's risk of entry, employment, credit or migration, and it is not built to. That boundary is a product rule, not an oversight.
  • No emotion recognition, no biometrics, no facial or voice analysis, anywhere in the product.
  • No AI avatars and no synthetic voices. There is no deepfake of any kind on this site.

3. How to check us

  • Every AI-generated image on this site carries machine-readable provenance in its metadata: the IPTC digitalSourceType value trainedAlgorithmicMedia, the same term C2PA tooling and platform detectors read. Open the file in any metadata viewer.
  • Every one of them also carries a signed C2PA Content Credentials manifest, cryptographically bound to the file's bytes. Run c2patool on any image from this site and it reads back as issued by Mykhailo Koblychenko s.p. One caveat we state rather than hide: we sign with our own certificate chain, which is not on a public C2PA trust list, so a validator will report a valid signature from an unrecognised issuer. That proves the file is unchanged since we made it and that we made it. It does not amount to a third party vouching for us, and we do not claim it does. The public half of the chain is published so you can check the signature yourself.
  • We keep a generation ledger with the SHA-256 of every image we have marked. Send us a file or a hash and we can confirm whether it came out of our pipeline.
  • The open snapshot at /data/snapshot.json still carries a legacy pmi field, left over from a discontinued layer. It is not used anywhere in the product and does not affect any verdict. It is documented on the Reproduce page rather than quietly deleted, because a transparency export should not contain numbers we refuse to explain.

4. Who is responsible

The provider of this system is Mykhailo Koblychenko s.p., Dimičeva ulica 9, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, tax number SI40790215, registration number 7522967000. Questions and complaints about how AI is used here: media4estate@gmail.com. The supervisory authority in Slovenia is the Information Commissioner of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec).

This page exists because Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act) requires transparency about AI-generated content and about systems people interact with, and those obligations apply from 2 August 2026.
